This is related to an issue from our end, and we are currently working to get it resolved. In the meantime, we suggest using the browser of your smart device until the app is back working.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".

Thanks @evelyngorgon for this Q, I'm having the same issue, also marco@ebay, I've gone on the website/browser version but I just get the same, I've uninstalled my ebay app couple of times and reinstalled but I just get "sorry this app longer supported" then either "cancel" which closes the app or "update" which sends me to Google play but there's no update option, just uninstall or open, as Evelyn said, it's just a loop, I can't even search, I have a lot to list aswell that I needed to do this weekend, hope you get it sorted soon 🤞🏼

There has been an update and it seems there is no technical issue to fix,  the app is no longer supported by some, and needs Android 10 or higher.
