I bought a suitcase generator Mid May and it did arrive a couple of days later. Tried it out for 15 mins to see if it worked and initially it seemed to do so, but wanted to use the machine earlier this month and discovered it will not start up at all. As it is over the month time to return or refund I contacted the dealer (DSD Tools), firstly on their contact form and having had no reply contacted again by email, again with no reply. What can I do about this now please? Incidentally the phone number on your site for their contact is not operable. I 'asked' the computer for details of a phone number and Copilot came back with the reply 'phone number not listed'. Any advice would be helpful as this item was not a cheap one. regards.

There is no phone number for eBay, it' a Live Chat, or a Call Back option to select, but you cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.
If they are not, a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG, Money Back Guarantee policy, to return the item for a full refund.
If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund.
If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this, then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps, if you wish to take this further.

Hello Tressygirl. Thanks for reply. The item which was not a cheap product was bought from a registered UK business is still withholding any sort of reply to my many requests via the ebay seller contact. Unfortunately it does look as if the only optionleft is what you suggest that we visit Citizen's Advice for their help in this matter.
It has been a very frustrating time which gone on now for several months with no replies to our requests.
Thanks for your help. We will see what happens.

Time has now passed and we took the advice to go to Citizens Advice who drafted a letter for us to send to the seller with a 14day deadline for response. The letter was sent recorded delivery so they will have received it, and the deadline has passed today with still no reply from the seller. We will be returing to Citizens Advice again with further descussions on the next move forward. It seems a never-ending scenario!!!
