Guernsey buyer. Had enough.

Hi,

There is definitely a big problem, for sellers not being able to complete purchases.

And buyers who are trying to desperately work out why sellers tell them they will send, but they are unable to buy.

I spent an hour last night trying to change my postal address, from United Kingdom, to Guernsey, to Channel Islands, sometimes with postcode, sometimes without.

Even eBay suggested an address for me, which was just plain wrong.

I can see sellers have post costs displayed, I change the address, post then disappears.

Sellers will display that they will send to United Kingdom, I've changed my address to United Kingdom, ebay tells me that the seller will not send to me, I should change my address.

Really really Pi%%ed off with eBay, big time.

I have looked again and again for answers here, too many "could be this.. possibly" answers.  

6 purchases lost, 6 sellers less than happy, 6 lots of money for eBay gone, do they care anymore !.

Sounds like we had the same treatment although my last email from them was to agree that my info had now been sent to the tech team to see if they could make the channel islands more visible.thats after I laid it on thick thar they must be losing loads of money! Ive tried every address combination i can and non is acceptable.They even blamed guernsey government and post office previously. So frustrating.Sent from my Galaxy

I cannot access my account because it has been suspended because of eBay's inability to understand that Jersey C.I. is part of the UK.
As previously mentioned, I managed to engage an Agent in a Chat exchange who, in a patronising way, seemed to understand the difficulty but informed me that it was beyond her remit and gave me an email address to which I should appeal. I immediately emailed that address with a copy of the Chat Transcript attached. That was over 10 days ago, and I haven't even received the courtesy of an acknowledgement let alone an answer !!!
