Error message [Photos] preventing listing

Hello,

I want to sell a pair of shoes but keep gettig an error message when trying to list

Looks like something is missing. Please fix any issues and try again.
Photos

The photos are there, and show in the Preview. I have resaved them smaller, changed browsers, cleared cache and cookies, but nothing changes.

Can someone help?

With a break from selling the account will need updating to remove the error messages .. some requirements have changed including the need for setting up Managed Payments with Current UK Account Banking details in order to send and receive Payments for transactions ... check in these links >

Thank you, but even after re-entering my account detail, my card and waiting for a few days nothing has changed and the error message about Photos still appears.

Hi @jadepeonies, thanks for your post.

I would recommend checking if the photos meet the following criteria:

• Photos should be no more than 7MB each.
• Photos should be at least 500 pixels on the longest side, but we recommend 800-1600 pixels.
• Accepted file formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, WEBP, HEIC, or AVIF).

I would also recommend deleting the photos from your draft and re-uploading them, as well as adding additional photos to see if that helps (you can add up to 24 photos).

Just wondered if there is a solution to this as I am having the same problems. Tried all the above solutions, even photographed items again, still having errror message.

Why can't e-bay sort this out!

I tried all of the things mentioned here with no sucess.  I uploaded an additional picture and hey presto listing a success.

I have listed a few items with no problems at all, same phone pics/size etc, last item won't work - used new set of photos, cleared cache etc but still no joy. REALLY frustrating.

Having the same problem when in the past I have had no problem at all.  i agree, very frustrating!  Ebay please give more constructive advise on how to get the photos as you state

The fix is to save the listing to draft, then close the app. Then open it, delete every single photo, save as draft, close app, open app,  and reupload photos. I recently did this and it worked for me.
