Push Notifications for Saved Searches - no longer working?

Is it me or are push notifications for new saved search results no longer working at all ?  Used to get numerous push notifications on my mobile device daily for new saved search results, but for the last week or so have not received any push notifications at all.

Hi @gomadgocrazy_der and @bidmcgui_0 ,

If you are experiencing issues with push notifications, please try the following:

• In your eBay app, go to the New saved searches and check if the push notifications are on (if it's already on, deselect it for a few minutes and turn it on again).
• Go to your phone settings > Notifications > turn off the eBay notifications for a few minutes and then turn on.
• Delete and reinstall the eBay app.

Hi Anita,

The problem is with the ebay app nothing to do with settings, multiple users have the same problem.

We wouldn't have a visibility of reports made on other platforms, but they seem to be from a while ago. It could have been a different issue that's already resolved. I would recommend trying the above steps to see if that helps, and give it about 24 hours. If the issue continues after that, please let me know, and I'll report it to the tech team for a review.

Hi Anita,

The problem has not been solved waiting 24 hours.   Like I said before It is a problem with your app not the users end, as another user in this thread reported the same problem .

The other platforms such a reddit reported the problem in July 2024, and it is the same issue.

Hi @gomadgocrazy_der,

The tech team has come back to me and asked if you would be able to provide a screenshot of one of your newest saved searches showing the push notification setting has been turned on. If you could do that, it would be great.

They also asked to confirm if you are not receiving any push notifications at all or only for new saved searches?

Hi Anita,

I do receive push notifications for new messages, ending soon, offer updates etc.. just do not recieve push notifications for any saved searches that has subscribe to push notifications turned on.

Irrelevant items in saved searches. Used to have a "not interested" button, but cant find it now

It works sometime, quite hit and miss.
