Enay app NOT showing ALL albums when listing !

Ebay - since your update your app has a flaw/ bug. Upon selecting photos for listings- I can only access four albums . Screenshots camera & downloads & favourites. I used to be able to see EVERY album. I allow access to every album in settings & it worked pefectky fine all last week & beyond.   Firstly the best thing you can so is ADMIT theres an issue & not hide behind oh it must be your device/ the wifi/ your settings. NO . . This along with bad buyers STOP / DETER me from using the site. Honestly you have so many unresolved problems. . I've cleared cache cookies & uninstapled app. It's NOT my device. It's your app. It's such a miserable app experience. Please don't suggest the website as I hate it. It's even worse than the app & every photo upon listing flickers! . The app is supposed to be easier. It isn't. I was literally listing earlier today& had access to All my photo albums. Now only 4. There user to be a "Browse" button to see EVERY single album you have in your gallery. That's gone too ! Why.!?? Pathetic app & its Ebays fault . So frustrating & it takes you months to remedy any technical report. For a billion dollar platform why can't you get things right so your users can actually list things to create fees & generate money for YOU !?

I have exact same issue using Samsung S20 FE. Up until yesterday, everything was fine. Now only able to access 3 albums - recent, screenshot and download. Very annoying to at the least. We need an immediate fix!

Just to politely remind you,  that you're no talking to eBay here,  but to members like yourself.

There's been an announcement from eBay a few days ago explaining the latest app requires Android 10 or higher to work.

Thabks but This link  doesn't help or work. I'm on Android 14 which is way above 10 & STILL getting the problem. Ebay are just in denial & it will eventually get resolved because it's clearly an issue on their app . This is what always happens. The issues are fixed in priority. So could take weeks. In those weeks they will fib you off & blame your device etc. It's ONLY occurred since last week's update. They need to take accountability as mine worked fine for years with every album available upon listing. I am now using other platforms as Ebay are embarrassingly bad & unhelpful.  When you contact them AI replies

Ebay need to realise & accept that this is an app flaw. I'm running on Android 14 yet it does not show all albums as before. Huge inconvenience & we will just be fobbed off for weeks & told to clear cache uninstall app. Or go on the even worse website. I am now using other platforms as Ebay stopped caring a very long time ago. When you contact them it's AI who responds.  Constant app issues that eventually get resolved but Ebay you need to take responsibility and acknowledge it's obviously your technical issue & not users devices!  Massive inconvenience.  Been with then nearly 20 years

Aaah , apologies @njluxe   I missed in your opening post you're on Android 14 which as you say , according to the new update,  should be allowing the latest app to work.

Others have informed uninstalling and reinstalling the app has worked, worth a try perhaps?

I'm higher than Android 10 yet the problem still persists so the link & announcement is moot as it won't work regardless. Clear cache reinstall.  None work so they can announce to the ones it applies to who may be using an older version maybe itll help them .  It's a technical flaw in the update. Someone from Ebay will likely responded eventually.  Loads are complaining including the user that replied to me.  Last time it took a month for then to rectify the bug & admit it was a problem with the app design. It's definitely their fault as it never happened before the update 👍

Ebay will just fob off & stall us as always after denying the issue for weeks. This is what usually happens. They simply don't care about loyal users. Android 14 yet the minimum requirement is 10. I've cleared cache uninstalled reinstalled. Tried 3 other devices including iPhone os 16.  Still no browse albums option. The app is flawed wish they'd just admit thst every time they update they mess it up. listing worked PERFECT the week before & beyond. I could see all my albums . Now I have a choice of 4. Makes listing impossible & long. Using other platforms now so Ebay will have to lose fees.  I'd like to know why it stopped working & what Ebay are doing to fix it

Hi. Any luck ? I'm on Samsung S21FE OS14. Still can't browse all my galleries when listing in app.  No replies from Ebay via help or Aby community boards. Because they claimed it was users fault when actually it's obviously an updated technical issue as before the update I browsed all albums.  It's caused such inconvenience & each listing now takes much longer. Billion $ company with the first technical team in the world.  No explanation of why this occurred, no accountability as yet & no fix

There won't be a fix, ebay have said that there is no technical issue, older operating systems can't support the updated app, that's how it is now.

Have you read all the threads!?  Clearly not. .  I am on Operating System 14. 14 is higher than 10 & therefore should work! But it doesn't.  Obviously I know from Ebays announcement that anyone below 10 won't be able to use but I am higher than 10. May help if you read full threads before contributing.  It's an ongoing error which is NOT fixed its affecting those that are on OS 10 or above android & Iphone

I have linked in with the tech team for your reported issue on not being able to access all albums. It is logged with them and currently being worked on to resolve. We don't have any control over timelines for this fix but as soon as there is an update from tech I will update the thread.

I understand your frustration with getting this fixed and the need for it to be done as soon as possible but please remain polite and professional in your replies on these boards with our team and other users.

I think considering the fees we pay & the inconvenience it causes the tone of the threads is extremely tolerant!  No swearing or anything abusive -  just an acknowledgement & update needed. Please accept your loyal users are frustrated as ebay have constantly bombarded users with " just uninstall reinstall/ clear cache/ change browser" when the problem lies with a problem during the update Ebays technical team created. So some sympathy for the sellers would be appreciated. This is not a one time thing.  It's every time as you'll understand.  Thanks for your reply I will keep checking for updates.

Sadly, it is not only ebay that has stopped supporting Android 7. Youtube has also just done the same, and the app for my home security cameras too, so I have bitten the bullet and reluctantly splashed out on a new tablet.

I have the same problem. I contacted the eBay support and they said that Corporate or IT policy is blocking the accessibility to my albums but it just my private Samsung phone.  Before the latest updates everything worked fine. EBay breaks the app with every update. Also I'm not able to change how much percent I want to pay for my sale advertisement. Its just set by the app now and no option to change the percent. Such a shame.
