Unable to bid on specific items (Garmin Watches) - Error: {e264324-1260494x}

I am unable to bid on Garmin watches, as I get this error:

I have already spoke to Customer Service twice who were unable to solve my issue. The item is located in the UK, and I am located in the UK. The item posts in the UK, as shown in the "posts to."

All my addresses are correct (main address, delivery address etc...).

My account is in good standing (no unpaid fees etc...) and I have 100% positive feedback.

I have been with ebay since 2003 and have never gotten this error on any items which I bid on.

I assume this is an error which is due to some recent changes in the website's code, and I am fairly certain the error is neither my fault, nor the fault of the seller. I have contacted sellers of items I could not bid on (just Garmin watches really) and they said they post fine and have no idea why this is happening.

Lastly, I suggested that Garmin could be banned from sales here in the UK due to the Verified Owner Program. But this cannot be the case at all, since I am able to bid on about 10% of the listed Garmin watches.

This error is happening on the vast majority on listed Garmin watches, and I have no idea why.

Hi, have you figured out this problem yet? I have the same error. I have been on ebay for 7 years and this is the first time this has happened to me.

I suspect this may be due to a mismatch between your IP address and the new registration address you provided. Perhaps you were not in the UK when you placed your bet?

I have no VPN on, this was also suggested by customer service. As far as I can tell, there is no valid reason at all for this to be happening.
