EBAY! Receiving another Sellers sales notification from the US, possible security issue

Hi,

Today I received an ebay app notification that I had sold an item, normal you may say.

However it was for another sellers sale in the US, I am in the UK!!

I find this very worrying, how is it possible to receive someone else’s sales notifications? And not only that but from another countries ebay site??

It makes me wonder if people are getting other information including personal details accidentally sent through the ebay app?

If ebay would like to know what item it was I took a screenshot of the notification, and happy to pass this on. Out of curiosity I looked up the item and it did indeed sell today in the US.

I know it was only a notification but I would say it’s a possible security issue that needs fixing.

That does seem strange to receive another sellers notification when signed into your own eBay account. If you can send the details by pm to myself I'll send it for review.
