Can’t remove feedback. Utter joke of a company

Account was compromised and fake listings were made.

hacker did NOT ship items and I received negative feedback, I had an email from eBay specifically stating 

“Case ID: ******** all feedback will be removed and refunded to buyers” 

 

contacted eBay as I have started selling again and noticed the feedback was NOT removed as promised…

got a reply stating due to past 90 days nothing can be done to remove this.

 

that is an utter joke, eBay can’t remove feedback on THEIR OWN SITE which they promised in writing they’d remove if I did receive negative feedback 

 

what absolute nonsense

When something goes wrong on eBay it is understandably upsetting. Best solutions come for me once I've found some calm, reviewed eBay policies, and then get Customer Service on the phone. So if this were my Feedback, the first thing that strikes me is this negative is not allowed because it mentions eBay refunding. So I would call CS and ask them to remove the comment for this reason. If that didn't work, I would leave a brief Reply to the feedback explaining the situation. Then I would forget about it. Every seller gets Negative feedback, and as long as your Reply sounds reasonable, people do not put much stock in the rare Negative.
