I don't even know where to start. Last time it was downloading some executable code from eBay's backend - eBayISAPI.dll - now maths has left the building lol
Solved! Go to Solution.

It persists after a refresh. Will try logging out and back in again.

Same. Plus, eBay feedback has stopped working, too...
Anyone else feel like the Internet is steadily decaying? 😕

Yes well what can you say - no explanation - must be ebay trying to boost the sellers coffers.
Or maybe they carried out a credit check on you and decided you could afford a little extra !
Good job you looked at it - I can imagine some poor sucker paid and is going to have a shock when the statement arrives !

EBay gremlins are getting like saw episode 10
this looks bad
so you’re selling something for 4.95 and if shoots up to 79 with postage?
only if it was a sale to America with all their crazy antics at the moment

Good thought but it shows a UK delivery postcode - I think it's ebay just trying to help the seller !

EBay trying to help ,the seller? Best go to bed cos that’s me thinking I got no brain left 😐🙄😀😐🤣

It could be ebay AI - after all AI calculates delivery estimates in favour of the buyer, package sizes in favour of the seller, why not prices in favour of the seller - next week AI will calculate prices in favour of the buyer - it makes sense in ebay world !

But you wouldn't use a neural network to do basic maths... Mind, most people do turn into children when presented with a new toy so that's believable, especially given the shoehorning that's going on with AI 'solutions' right now and the lack of judgement from IT managers blinded by sales slopaganda.
Humans have a propensity for laziness and stupidity, this is yet another 'convenience' to stop us using our brains. Sad thing is, it's easy enough for the lazy people and correct enough for those who don't know better :'(
And don't get me started on 'vibe' coding 😠 It's like picking out colours and then telling everyone you're a professional decorator lol

You see you upset AI and it reverted back to the correct price - AI has very sensitive feelings - can you imagine what AI's reaction will be when the seller finds out !
