Anyone else find the return process glitch on the phone app

I offered a return via my phone on Friday and when selecting to buy the return label I was taken to a screen to complete the return. This closed the return but was not the correct sequence of screens so would catch anyone out. I phoned ebay and they were extremely unhelpful. Lost my item and my money and now have to make an official complaint amd wait for a response before goimg to the financial ombudsman.  Be very careful with the app, I feel I have been stolen from. Customer service confirmed that she revieved many calls about yhe glitch on the day I called. Ebay should own up to the flaws in the system.

What are the steps to this glitch please, to help other Buyers avoid it?

 

And have you reported this directly to eBay so the Techies can fix it?

Last but not least, depending on the reason for the return you may be able to recover your money by going directly to your payment provider. Buyers have a legal right to pursue a chargeback for 60 days, but many banks extend this to 120 days.
