what is length of time a buyer can claim there money back

hi, iv just had a buyer open up a case for a item they purchased on the 17th of December 2020, this is 51 days ago i thought they only had 30 days? what will happen if i ignore it? if he asked within the 30 days i would of given the refund, surely im not obliged too?

To add to the info already given a private seller running a business that is not registered has to accept returns for 12 months from the date of delivery and give a full refund of all costs.
