parcel size imposed via ebay for hermes

At present instead of going to a parcel shop sellers can get collection at the same price (apparently). When I went to use Hermes service via Ebay to take advantage of this I found a size restriction that is not on Hermes own price bands.

Hermes have a size restriction that is applicable through all their weight bands. The maximum size they will carry. Within weight bands there is no further restriction on their own site or buying via a parcel shop machine. But on the Ebay service (is this via Shutl?) they have imposed the same sizes as Royal Mail for the under 1kg, 45x35x16.

Which is correct? If I can't send the <1k parcel via Ebay system for the same price as the parcel shop, which is what they have been advertising, because there is the added size restriction, then it is a misleading offer, & I will have to don mask & gloves to use the shop.

Should have been much clearer advice as you can't access the finer details till a sale is made as the P&P has been paid for.

Just to add - in case you're unaware - that buying postage on Ebay isn't mandatory. It would only cost you a few extra pence to arrange collection from your home by Hermes direct, ie. without involving a middleman. Go to their website for full information.

Hermes collection service is a bonus for some at the moment, but you have to abide by T&C's.

If you can't post items, you should remove all listings.
