i have two items for sale with a starting bid and a buy it now price. 1 person wants to buy both

I want to give the person buying 2 items that I have for sale a discount for buying both how do I do this? i didnt click accept offers and I have a starting price and a buy it now price. I have had no bids on either item

Well add best offer or amend the start price.

I assume they are the phones, if so 2nd Class Postage is most inappropriate. That covers items up to £20, if you intend posting both together you need Special Delivery with extra insurance, otherwise if lost or damaged, you have to refund the buyer but would be lucky if you got any compensation.

Beware, phones are a scammers magnet and showing you don't understand the postage attracts scammers so be extremely careful with your buyer to avoid being scammed.

If any unusual requests, like being asked for your paypal email, come back here as that would be a very bad sign.

I would post them special delivery, it just wouldn’t let me put that as an option in the postage bit. So I added it to the description.
It’s not the postage I want to discount it’s the price for buying 2 of them.
I have a starting price and a buy it now price. He wants to buy both for a discount.

The reason you can't add Special Delivery as a postage option to your listings is because you are using the wrong form. Stop using the bog standard selling form and switch to using the Advanced Selling Form (sometimes referred to as the Business Listing Tool) and you will be able to include Special Delivery when you're setting up your listings.
