eBay have STOLEN £49 from me in "fees" even though I haven't sold anything. They don't resolve....

Does anyone how I can report eBay to the authorities to get my money back? They don't seem to be bothered about it even though I've been chasing them for 2 weeks. They just tell me to wait for an email... that never arrives

Instead of chasing ebay, you would have found a better solution by looking in MORE ACTIONS . I haven't been paid is a good place to start, but you have to open an unpaid case within 32 days, so may be out of time.

Didn't you think putiing I have not been paid in Help & Contact would be better than wasting ebay's time and your time contacting them when it is not necessary

You are not the first person not to be paid so ebay has a system for reclaiming the fee which is charged the moment an item sells. It is not stealing to charge you a fee that you agreed to pay. It is up to you to use the tools provided to recover the fee.

Ebay don't 'steal' fees. Nor do they make invoicing errors. Check your invoice details to see exactly what you've been charged for, and go to the Seller Centre (link at foot of any page) to see a list of Ebay (and PayPal) fees, along with everything else you need to know about selling here.

If you sold something a buyer didn't pay for, then Ebay won't know the buyer didn't pay unless you tell them.  Selling fees are applied the second an item is bought or won, not when a buyer pays as payments can be made by means other than PayPal (such as cash on collection).

You tell Ebay a buyer hasn't paid by opening an Unpaid Item case within 32 days of purchase, and closing it after 4 full days as 'unpaid'. That will auto-credit the selling fee back to your Ebay account, and slap a deserved Unpaid Item strike on the buyer's account. You're then free to relist without risking two buyers for the same item. So if that is what's causing your concern, and you're still within 32 days of purchase date, do that now - it's the only way you'll get a selling fee credit.

you sold a phone for £495 and left the buyer a false positive saying they tried to scam you, you relisted and seemingly eBay removed the listing.

eBay charge fees as soon as the item is sold and they have to be paid unless you inform eBay that you did not get paid.

That could be a very expensive feedback violation as you could be out of time to open an unpaid case, try it now -

eBay don't 'steal' fees.

Why dont' you just explain what happened here.

Did you have a non-payer?

Are these charges for listing fees?
