Royal Mail delivery times with COV 19

Interesting to see what delivery times are like.

I ship around 100 per day ebay and currently. All items are small and under 2kg.

We ship in 1-2 days on post 48 and seeing anything from 2-14 days delivery

Anyone else having same problems?

Also why is nobody understanding when even i know there will be staff shortages and increased volume, dont understand why so many people are getting so mad that goods are late.

It seems so variable. I live in a village in Cambridgeshire and order a lot on eBay.   Most arrives well within the "predicted timescale". I bought a bicycle pump [chinese seller - UK location] and it arrived as I would expect within 48 hours. 

Part of the problem may be sellers who simply do not understand eBay's requirements.  I saw one [a business seller] which had its normal listing showing 24 hour courier but a sentence added to the text that he would not actually despatch till after the Covid.  Sellers cannot make up their own terms. He simply will be out of business!

I tend to work 12-14 hour days to get goods out in the 1-2 days time scale I promise.

With my normal website and ebay took 400 orders over weekend and cleared 90% orders same day and then the rest the days after. our delivery timescale is fine but items left us on the 14th still not arrived to customers and its now the 22nd.

My question was simply are other member experiencing royal mail delivery problems?

Simple answer, yes, of course other sellers are having the same experience, you only have to read other posts.
