Has anyone had a buyer accept item, leave glowing positive feedback then 5 days later want to return item as not as described - she’s raised a returns and eBay saying I have to refund?

Unfortunately Feedback left is of No consequence. It could have been left in error.

 

Yes you will have to Refund. Buyers are covered for 30 days by the Ebay Money Back Guarantee. If you don't comply EBay will Refund from your PayPal account and you will receive a Damaging Defect on your Account. Best to just Accept and generate the Returns Label through the Case. Your EBay Final Value Fees will be Credited back to your Seller Account.

Ebay sides with the Buyer as they can't actually see the Item being Returned.
