Search engine Shopping links loading wrong description

I have a current listing (item number 296875913353) the description for which is "GraviTrax XXL Starter Set 27615 Large Marble Run. 242 pieces. Sealed."

To check whether it was appearing in search engine results I opened an incognito Chrome window and entered the search term "Gravitrax XXL".  The sponsored panel listed my item with a tag of 'By Shoptize'.

When I clicked the link however it loaded a very odd view of my listing with a completely different description: "Ravensburger Gravitrax XXL Starter Set 200 Peice Marble Run & Construction Toy".  I would never have listed the item with this text, it's inaccurate and has spelling errors.   See https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/16025642119 .   This link was also linked by Bing Shopping.

I'm concerned that this could happen, eBay presenting a different description could affect buyer expectation and potentially lead to disputes.   This error is not easy to spot as my normal signed-in view of the listing is fine.

Re: Search engine Shopping links loading wrong description

It looks like the AI setting must have been pressed when you were listing the item.

You can change it back by pressing Edit & going to the AI Description halfway down the righthand side of the page.

Re: Search engine Shopping links loading wrong description

Thanks for the suggestion ile136yz.  I should have been clearer, it the item title that I've quoted in my original post.

AI Description is not enabled.  As far as I can see the AI option would not affect the title even if enabled.

Re: Search engine Shopping links loading wrong description

You are correct, AI can be used in the description.

The eBay's Tech team would be a better option. I've noticed nearly every day this week something has been changed in my listings setting, 50% is not good & slower to use.
