Returns & Policies

If a buyer requests a return because the item ‘didn’t fit,’ do you always accept it?

Re: Returns & Policies

As  private seller you don't have to accept "change of mind "requests. If you do the buyer has to return by trackable method at their own cost and you would have to refund all of the buyers original payment.

The buyer could possibly do a chargeback if you decline depending on value and how they paid.

Re: Returns & Policies

Hi ukpolicygovernance1, thanks for your post.

I just wanted to clarify that if you are a private seller, accepting the return depends on your returns policy that you set up. For example, you can set up a no returns policy, and in that case you don't have to accept a change of mind or "didn't fit" return request. However, if you set it up to accept returns, then you'd need to accept the return.

Just double check what returns policy you set up, then you could just take it from there. 👍

Hope this helps,

Marco
