Do draft pages (made before setting "exclude postage locations") properly exclude postage locations?

Hi everyone.

I'm new to EBAY - am still trying to get the hang on everything on the site (and I thought using Amazon was hard - sheesh!). Anyway, I've made over 30 draft listing pages (which I have saved for later only atm), but I recently discovered something that makes me worried I might have to delete those draft listings and start them all over from the beginning.

The thing is I live in the UK and want to sell in the UK ONLY, so I discovered some time ago the "Exclude postage locations" account-settings page, but I had not got round to configuring it. I was going to do it when I finish all my draft listings, but I got a feeling to do it sooner - so now my account-settings should be setup to sell in UK domestic only. After doing that, I made a new draft listing but discovered "Excluded locations (with pull-down menu)" was now showing up on my new draft listing (which it never did for all my other draft listings). Now I'm glad the "Excluded locations (with pull-down menu)" is now showing on (all?) my future draft listings - I don't need to actually change/configure anything with it, but it's just good to know that my draft listings are for sale domestic UK locations only. HOWEVER the problem is, I looked at my other draft listings I had already made, and the "Excluded locations (with pull-down menu)" does not show.

So, what does this mean - are all my older draft listings in danger of being bought by anyone outside domestic UK, or is it just a visual glitch on the draft pages and they should be OK? Can anyone help? If I have to re-do these draft listing pages I will be really annoyed!

Also, are there any other account-settings on EBAY that display things on draft listing pages (things that don't show up on the draft listing pages when you first start using EBAY - without having made any changes to default starter seller account-settings anyway).

Re: Do draft pages (made before setting "exclude postage locations") properly exclude post

Thankyou for showing the buyer block preferences link, but that is not what I was talking about, since I haven't even sold anything yet!

Also I know about the global shipping link also - that is what I was talking about in the first place when I said "account-settings" (I don't know or particularly care for the precise wording terminology for these hundreds of confusing badly designed half working hard to find annoying settings pages throughout EBAY).

"Anyway, I've made over 30 draft listing pages"

Hi OP,are you aware that as a new seller you will have limits imposed on the value of what you can list until you become "established" in Ebays eyes.

See :- https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/listings/selling-limits?id=4107

All the best.

Re: Do draft pages (made before setting "exclude postage locations") properly exclude post

If you list with UK postage you can then block "buyers whose primary delivery address is in a location I don't post to" on here:

http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences

Select "Apply above settings to active and future listings" at the bottom and then submit.

You can also opt out of eBay's Global Shipping here:

Yes I am aware there are limits for new sellers - that is NOT what I was talking about.
