App cannot access my photo gallery on phone

Everything was fine until today. 

Im using Samsung S20 FE

The app cannot access my photo gallery so I'm unable to list anything unless I go on a browser.

What's happened, and when will our be fixed? 

Up until this morning, it worked fine. 

I've uninstalled app, rebooted phone, reinstalled app - but no joy!!

I reported this via Customer Service on Twitter and I was told that this was an intentional change and no plans to reverse it. Here is part of the reply below (from Victoria at eBay Customer Service).

"Upon researching the issue and collaborating with our site-design team, I can confirm that this was an intentional change, and not a glitch as we initially suspected. While we never intentionally removed this specific feature, in our recent efforts to streamline the listing process, the feature was simply not carried over. Although I don't have the ability to change this, or promise you that the feature will ever return, what I can do in ensure your feedback is passed forward so that our site design team has an understanding of how this feature was valuable to you."

Hello. I'm just wondering if there is any update on this issue?

The workaround are really not working for me.

Number 1 is not as option as I am not shown any albums at all. I only have the option of photos (which shows all 32,000 photos that I would have to scroll through) or videos.

Number 2 is very time consuming.

Sorry to hear those workarounds are not working for you. They have worked for some users but I appreciate not all workarounds will work for everyone. The current update on this is that it is part of how it is designed in the background and there are no current plans to have it changed. We are continuing to feedback user experience to our tech and development team but right now all photos being in one place will remain like this. If there are any future updates on it being changed I will update the thread.
