Are you adding any optional upgrades to your listing that are chargeable such as a Reserve?

I cannot see any of the listins you have for sale or sold, but if you add any of the following optional listing upgrades, thesse all come with non refundable listing fees, which are payable sale or no sale, and charged the second the items go live.
Reserves: 4% of the set reserve ( maximum £150 per item)
Subtitles: £2
Listing in 2 catagories: 35p
Gallery Plus: £2.50 ( free for clothes and shoes)
Listings with duration 1 - 3 days 35p
As a tip, before clicking on the final List Item With Displayed Fees button, glance just above it, it should read £0.00 Listing Fee.
If there is a fee amount listed there, you have selected an upgrade, and if you wish, it gives you time to scroll up and remove the payable upgrade.
There are fees charged if you promote items and they sell , too.

I've just checked - Yes, you are adding a Reserve to your listings - this will cost you 4% of whatever price you set for your Reserve price and is payable even if your item doesn't sell.
When you submit your listing you click on the 'List with displayed fees' button, and above that button any payable fee is displayed.
It's much better to start an auction at the lowest price you'd be happy to accept, this effectively acts the same as adding a Reserve in that your item can't sell for below that start price, and it doesn't cost anything.

Ouch, I always look at Reserve Fees as the Optional Warranty Extension Package of the eBay world.

Well, I do often wonder what they spend it on because it certainly doesn't seem to be improving the site.

Have you pressed "Promote" listing as there will be those fees.
Only creating listing is free unless its "promoted"

See post #4 - they've used a Reserve on all 5 of their listings.
