Yet again eBay have changed my postage courier.

Because I chose royal Mail as courier for certain items this week, I have found that eBay has automatically change any items I have with an Evri courier changed to Royal Mail .This is utterly ridiculous!!!!!

eBay tell you they may do this, and you accepted it when you listed an item with Simple Delivery. Have you considered opening a Business Account instead? Then you could control your postage better.

There is no sense in changing the postage on other items that have
already been listed as specifically Evri or Royal Mail, using the Simple
postage system. That is nonsense.

I use almost exclusively RM cos I prefer them but I like to have the option to use Evri for items bigger than small parcel as they are more reasonably priced.  But I have no choice with Simples Delivery - it's either both or one.

So you have to choose or accept what eBay offers.  The only way around it is to use a different account so one a/c for RM and a different one for Evri.   But I don't have enough larger items for the hassle.  Out of about 40 items I might have 2 that are bigger than small parcel.  Had them for ages so I can keep them for longer or maybe consider Vint*ed for the larger items where Evri is used more.  Not used them for selling yet as I was trying to get my head around Simples Delivery but with things so quiet on this platform I may try.

There is no sense in eBay arbitrarily changing couriers on other items
that are already using simple delivery, in which a courier has been
specified, after, a seller changes courier for the next item they list.
That is complete stupidity, and something that eBay could easily rectify.

You don’t want to be sending by evri right now. Their system is clogged. Late collections from parcel shops (Im talking days not hours) and then late deliveries in general. I have items incoming as a buyer, 3 are still waiting collection from the parcel shop (purchased last week) and items that finally turned up today should have arrived a week ago. No way am I sending via evri. Id cancel a sale before I did that.
