Easier to bin than try and sell on ebay

It is so much easier to bin something than to try and create an ebay listing

Binning items?

Remember how eBay ?

It started from meagre beginnings,  from trying to sell ( it ended successfully ! )  a broken unwanted ,  laser pointer.

Something of no value to you, worth binning , as was the laser pointer,  may be of use to someone else! 🤗

Easier to bin than try and sell on ebay

I once saw an eBay listing for a single Pringle potato crisp!

Everything gets easier with familiarity. Experienced Sellers list in a few minutes, including photos. But if it is too difficult I hope you will donate your guitars to a Charity Shop rather than bin them in future!

You only ever have to create one listing from scratch. Thereafter you "sell similar" even if it is not really similar, you just sell similar and edit the listing accordingly.

In fact, you can even find someone else's listing and click the button "sell one like this", then edit it.

I think even experienced sellers will have found listing not as quick & straightforward as it used to be. This last few years there have been so many changes. It's like every time you start a new listing, something has been added/removed, tinkered with, or 'improved'.

The listing page is such a fiddle these days, with drop down arrows & menus, all requiring more clicking, and making sure the correct specific has clicked into place. Then eBay added the Buyer Protection Fee onto item prices, which meant altering prices back to to 99p endings (if preferred). Then Simple Delivery caused utter chaos to the postage arrangements. Then the BPF price changed, so listings were interfered with again...

I spend a lot more time checking, amending, and re-checking existing listings, than creating any new listings. I really don't have the time - or enough life force - for any more selling shenanigans... 🙄

And no doubt an 'exciting', all-new listing tool will be forced upon us sooner or later... 'to simplify your listing experience'... 😱
