My bank account hasn't changed at all, I have had no problems receiving previous payments but eBay has decided to reverify and put a hold on my payouts?
I have clicked on the red banner to "update" my bank account with the same details. It wants me to confirm deposit amounts but eBay has not sent me any deposits that I can enter. What can I do to fix this eBay error?
Thank you!

It always baffles me why businesses take so long to deposit money into our accounts, especially when it's such tiny sums. If bank transfers that we initiate can happen instaneously, why does it take 'up to five working days' for some companies to get their act together? How very last century! 😂

It's a warm up heading towards the budget, nobody can withdraw funds as directed by HMRC 😄

Just had this happen to me, out of nowhere. The last two things I sold, one back in September and one just a few days ago, so only about 2 months have passed.
The item I sold a few days ago triggered eBay to send me a message asking me to update my bank details because they couldn't "verify" them, despite the fact nothing has changed with my bank since the September sale.
I tried to verify the easy way, by logging into my bank through eBay, my bank and eBay shared the info needed successfully, clicked Save and... error. "We couldn't verify your updated details. Please review them and try again" ...so I did. 5 times! And 5 times, it failed with the same error.
Decided to give u on that BS, and tried the microdeposit method. Of course, this was done on a Saturday, and the deposits can take up to 3-5 working days. It's 2025 and it still takes that long for two, TINY deposits to take place? Unforgiveable.
I did chat to two agents via Live Chat, both of which said the same thing. Nothing they can do, I have to wait. Disgusting, keeping hold of OUR money all because THEIR system is too stupid to do it's job... we get punished for it.
On top of that, I was told that that 2 month period of not selling is enough to confuse eBay and make it believe you are a NEW SELLER, despite the obvious amount of years of being a member, AND the feedback score. How does not selling for two months make eBay believe you are a new seller? Makes ZERO sense.
So now, I have to wait before I can access my own money and transfer it to my bank, instead of leaving in my eBay balance. All well and good if I want something on eBay, but I don't. I want it in my bank!
