Hi I've just received this message contacted ebay and is being sent to everyone
That's me I'm done no more ebay for me bye bye
We are making changes to the way we process payments on eBay. Going forward, we’ll make your funds available for payout within 48 hours after we’ve confirmed delivery of the item. Until then, you’ll see a “hold” on your funds. This process helps keep our marketplace safe.

You also need to add on the buyer protection fee to each item which goes in Ebays pockets

It's getting worse!
I sold 20 items since new rule, but i noticed EBAY SCAMMED ME ON MY MONEY on two of them!
Says funds ' completed ' BUT NEVER APPEARED ON 'AVAILABLE FUNDS' !!!
already two of them.
Now I'm closely monitoring everything else as I'm sure they WILL do it with other items.
It's hard to track if you sell 30-40 items a month.
Will have to fight for my stolen money now like I got nothing else to do with my life.

So i sold an item over 48 hours ago, and i should have been paid out. Wasn't and had to talk to an agent via text chat because it said the payout would be in 72 hours and they assured me not to worry and that it was still going to be 48 hours. And then i called an agent today, only to get told that it's 48 hours after the buyer claims they recieved it? So tracking isn't enough now, the buyer has to tell ebay they recieved the item? I was sat on my ebay app looking at when exactly item got to the buyer on the 5th! So really it's not 48 hours, it's a much much longer time, depending on how involved and vigilant the buyer is with ebay, and that's completely unreliable! Some people dont even leave feedback anymore! What is going on with ebay at the moment!

Ok so, i got through to an actually useful agent after calling ANOTHER time.
Essentially it is 48 hours for payout if the item is less than £100 (or whatever your currency is) if it is MORE than £100 it will be minimum 3 days or longer.
This is all due to them making it seem like there is no selling fees, which there still is but whatever, and they are just juggling the money around to make interest off of it or something instead but the sellers are having to pay for all of this stuff.
Idk what was wrong with ebay before that they had to change any of this.

They are telling you a load of *bleep*.
Have a read of the threads here if you want an accurate idea of timeframes.
Don't worry. You aren't the only one they've bull*bleep*ted.

What andha -21 says!
There is *NO* mechanism or 'button' to push, that a buyer can use to tell ebay they have received their item.
CS didn't just tell you something wrong, they told you something impossible..
