Anyone else now sick to the back teeth of these banners keep showing up?
I of course refer to the so called "Promo's" ebay now plaster all over the top of my listings page, in the form of a huge banner.
And when you click the "Dismiss" button you get that message saying " You Have Dismissed One Opportunity".
Well ermmmm - No I have not, I didn't want these so called offers, as lets be honest they cost me money, as they are always linked to site visability online / offline etc, for which ebay charge a fee ( Yes another one ).
I would not mind if they said something like you have 50 free listings, or you can seel whatever you like for free or just 5%, but as a business seller, we all know that is never going to happen & that those days are long gone.
And then everytime I refresh the page, you guessed it, up pops another one !!!!!!.
Go away, don't come back, if I want to see what so called "Promo'" are available I will look under my overview page, you don't need to keep on & non & on & on & on ( You get the message ).
Phewwww - That's a rant off my mind !!!!!

@keepsakesandkollectables Imagine seeing that:
‘You have a months free shop subscription on us’ instead of the repitive ‘£100 off Promoted Listings’.
I agree the dismissed opportunity message makes me feel like I’ve just added a negative mark to my account.

Yes 100% agree, it's like by Ebay saying you have dismissed something, it's a black mark again your name / account.
Months free shop? I wished ! Look it's a pink flying elephant !!!!!!!!

My sentiments in a nutshell.

I sometimes get app notifications along the lines of - ‘about that offer 🤝’.
I haven’t even made an offer I just clicked on a listing to do a sell similar 😂. I panicked the first time and thought I’d made an offer on something after a few too many beers.

I've got to the stage where I ignore them. I have four of them at the moment, there have been more -
Reduce dispatch time by 1 day.
Reach more buyers on ebay. Start promoting listings with a general strategy to help get up to 25% more clicks.
Send offers on your listings.
Reach more buyers off ebay. Get started with promoted off site.
I was deleting them, but stopped as has been said the 'dismissed' message became too annoying.

I had to go and check /revise all my listings today as small parcels going before with simple delivery at 3.45 for 48 hour RM tracked we’re all showing as medium parcel at 3.64
not a huge deal I suppose but every time I revised a listing before I could come out of the whole thing I had the promote this listing prompt and had to select no thanks
well no thanks
if I wanted to promote it I would have I don’t need pushed every time
nb if you revise a listing from custom postage it changes it to simple delivery
but you need to check your listings that have already been pushed onto simple delivery because where they were charging for a small parcel they’re now charging for a medium
because when they updated their postage rates the last time they didn’t amend existing listings to the correct ones
the worst example was charging 5.15 for a small parcel
god this is so fn complicated
And only because they decided to use us as Guinea pigs
I hope they get their act together before they overcharge buyers and sellers if it’s not too much to ask eBay dears 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I get 'go back to where you left off 😄'
No thanks. I 'left off' because I didn't want it.........

Have just received another nagging eBay message in my inbox telling me to promote, offer free postage, add more specifics on my last 4 listings. I refuse to promote.
Better sales elsewhere, no promotion, list, sell, repeat.
