There hasn't been a 2pm Wednesday chat session recently. I guess that's because of Christmas / New Year? So will they return this week?
And, if it does return, will it be going into meltdown over the proposal of mandatory Simple Delivery, much like this forum has been lately?
It would be so nice to get some authoritative answers to the problem of those sellers with disabilities requiring postal services with collection from their own address.

Collection is currently available with Royal Mail but not Evri.
I currently use Royal Mail's collection service to avoid regular ten mile round journeys to drop of parcels. When Simple beomes mandatory I think I may include something in my description strongly recommending buyers to choose Royal Mail "as the item is likely to get to you much quicker".

Good luck with
a) having a buyer who reads the whole of your title, let alone your full description
b)having a buyer who sees Evri is cheaper, but prefers to pay more for RM.
I mean, this will work for some of your sales, but what will you do with the ones where it doesn't?

Initially, I will take the Evri stuff to a collection point, but there may be delays. Then, essentially, suck it and see. I am not going to stomp off without giving it a try.
It is said that a lot of buyers hate Evri, and will not buy from sellers that only offer Evri. It will be interesting to see the truth of it.

Fair enough. For those of us with mobility issues, or long distance to an Evri parcel shop, etc it's not an option.

certainly true in my case, EVRI local courier will not deliver to anywhere that takes too much time, the only time we have ever had an evri delivery was when the courier was on holiday and even then it was only because the seller had quoted RM and then sent EVRI (my big gripe with some sellers). I ALWAYS check if it is EVRI and if i am really interested i would get in touch with the seller to ask if they could send RM, if answer no then no sale. No way will i give EVRI any business as a buyer or a seller. RM have never let me down and if i cannot continue the way i am then i will leave the site.

For those following along, CEO Jamie Iannone just said Simple Delivery Mandate is being pushed to Q2.
