Why aren't my new 1st class stamps selling?

Am I missing something and not listing my stamps in the correct category or is the listing title wrong? Because I'm selling my 1st class barcoded stamps for a decent discount off their actual value but I'm not even getting any views on my listing. Here's my listing:

£135 Value Self-Adhesive Stamps: 43 1st Class Large Letter [10, 20, 30, 40, 45]

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/205673915510

I put the different numbers in the title as that's what i think people will search for such as "10 1st class stamps".

Re: Why aren't my new 1st class stamps selling?

As well as the various issues in the listing that others have mentioned, yours are far too expensive.

Established business sellers are getting less than 50% of face value:

I could be wrong but I think the commemoratives you have shown command a lower resale price than the modern barcoded ones.

I've no idea. They are less likely to be fake; but I can believe businesses sending mail to customers may not want to use stamps with random pictures of insects, Game of Thrones, teddy bears etc.

Here's 50 barcoded from a business seller for less than the OP's lot of 43. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403797258287

Re: Why aren't my new 1st class stamps selling?

I think the confusion here is due to the OP’s listing so it kind of proves earlier points.

They are selling 43 1st class large letter stamps but 82 normal 1st class stamps so their price for the 82 is still a lot better than the one for 50 that you have found.

Now I’ve seen the price there from that business seller I can understand why the OP is scratching their head with this.

Re: Why aren't my new 1st class stamps selling?

Apologies/You are correct that my comparison in message 24 is not comparing like for like (a mistake).

I don't know what you mean regarding the "82 normal 1st class stamps". The OP item is 43 x 1st Class Large Letter (£3.15 x 43 = £135.45).

They are on at just under 62% of face value, I'll maybe look for similar and see what else I can find. I would have thought 62% was about right - if the seller tidies the photo and title. But being a private seller, people worried about fakes, private ebay sellers [often] needing to use Simple Delivery etc. and lots of other people selling similar won't help quick sales.

Re: Why aren't my new 1st class stamps selling?

They have another listing with the other ones, by normal I just mean the £1.70 stamps.

62% face value is a really good deal for modern barcoded ones from what I remember. I think when the thread started they were at about 73%, I thought 70% would get them sold. It has been a while though and I focus on 2nd class myself so am not as familiar with 1st class resale prices historically.

I prefer the stamps with random pictures. But then I sell to collectors 😊
