As above, selling decent Dickies hoody, gametime hip hop jeans(sell well from U.S) Stronghold Plaid shirt(one went for more!) other sellers same items are selling on site as well. I have even promoted the jeans, Just about to put a carhartt t shirt on, will see how that goes.

Your brand items have a ‘pop up’ that says something like view all items like this on ebay and when I click it, it comes up with a whole heap of items with yours being at the top, with a smaller image. This may be a factor

tx for that, what can i do about it, is that for each individual items

All but the Vans

I don't get the pop-up that gjalp sees, but I get something similar when I look at your listings - each of your images, except the Vans, has a magnifying glass icon in the bottom left hand corner.
You might think when you see a magnifying glass that clicking it will take you to a larger image, but no, contrary to universally accepted practice, clicking the magnifying glass actually takes you to a seemingly infinite number of similar items from other sellers. Your own image is minimised, whilst the competitors' images are enlarged.
The icons placed on top of a seller's image is a feature that ebay is testing. It cropped up in conversation this morning on the "No Longer Selling due to Simple Delivery" thread - page 366, post 7302 onwards - if you want to read more about it. There's nothing you can do about it, except complain to ebay if you feel so inclined, about them using your image and the listing that you have spent time creating, in order to encourage people to buy your item from someone else.

My view is in list format rather than the way yours is presented but other sellers items are larger in the same way.

There are lots of people selling old clothes so you face a lot of competition. There are also now specialist sites for them that some people will be more inclined to look at than e-Bay; as there's even more competition on those prices tend to be lower.
You are asking sensible prices so aren't going to be high up when people search on lowest price first. How e-Bay decide what constitutes Best Match is known only unto them. As you use Buy It Now it may be worth periodically ending listings and re-listing them as that would at least get the up Newly Listed searches and get alerts sent to people with running searches.

Hi
says this no no bumping?

Maybe that's something else that's changed recently as I've had things getting no Views in the past and done as suggested and suddenly Views have appeared.
You could try ending a listing and then choosing "Sell Similar" and make very minor changes to it. Apart from a few minutes of your time there's nothing lost even if it doesn't help.

still having problems, reduced prices, but still not many views(only from here i think) I had a mail for ebay they now offer telephone advice(is it good?) that I might try

I’ve ended up promoting most of my stuff because was getting 0 or 1 view for weeks it’s quite ridiculous
It doesn’t generate masses more views but in general they get more but not as much as eBay claim hahahahaha
and I’m treating the promoted listing cost as a normal eBay selling fee as it used to be before they made it free to sell
just an experiment
time will tell if it works well enough for me or not and if it doesn’t well not much to see around here for me for much longer

Ive conceded and done similar as my impressions were over 50% down and my listing views down by more than 30%. Had another feedback form from ebay today (those are becoming quite frequent) and told them I thought I had now become invisible! Promoting has brought in a little uptick but not enough to have a party

Something happened about two or three years ago which stopped views dead but sporadically made them appear in regular cycles …I wonder what that was ….
things used to be normal now they’re dysfunctional

All I know is that even on this business ID sales are down 37% on the month. I expect the summer to be quieter but not dead in the water!

There’s financial hardship for all but it still doesn’t explain lack of views
04-08-2025 11:04 PM
I really think something is wrong, i cant even seem to send an offer to one of my watchers,
04-08-2025 11:11 PM
We’ve just launched a website and for a brand new site, it’s actually doing better than expected. If it continues in this manner, I may actually be able to just quit ebay completely (although I am also keeping an eye out for disabled friendly job vacancies). I have zero energy for ebay these days.
04-08-2025 11:12 PM
I’ve encountered a few errors on sending offers as well

Hi @dgtbids
I looked at your item
Mens Holliister Striped Knitted L/Sleeve T Shirt(says Xl,see measurements)
Hollister is spelt wrong, sorry I have a keen eye! I also think you are putting the wrong info in the title
Try:
Hollister Mens T Shirt sweatshirt X Large cotton mix blue grey stripe long sleeve
Trying to imagine what you would search for if you wanted a blue sweatshirt. Your description is good giving the specific measurements. Personally I would give it an iron, straighten it up on the hanger and take more photos. Close up, neck, cuffs, back. Prove it is in good condition. A lot of people use a door like you have and it is not that bad, but you could try "Remove BG" software which is free which will remove the background all together very quickly. (Not sure if posting the link would be allowed.)
Also think "Gametime" is two words
The shoes are photographed well, but you need to show the soles and more sides, and the colour and size should be in the title.
Do you mean "Spell out" instead of "speak out" for the red sweatshirt?
Hope this helps, not trying to be rude!
