Since 30th April all my orders say dispatched but never get delivered, I have sent 15 orders and none get delivered, I use royal mail and do it through the new eBay system, I have given two refunds so far and more to follow , I am out of pocket and have no idea what is happening....all my orders say dispatched, label created and courier scanned , tracking number issued but no customer has received there orders....is it royal mail, the eBay system or customer dishonesty
any advice
i have stopped sending orders today and informed the customer I will not send anything till eBay sorts this out

You should be able to check tracking and see at which stage the problem occurs. If its happening at a local level you can flag the issue with Royal Mail. Tracked should be scanned upon delivery but often isnt. In these cases ‘some’ (the chancers) will see their tracking has not updated so may open INR. Id be checking the tracking and documenting where in the system something goes missing. There has also been a bank holiday and I never mail out just before or after a bank holiday as RM notoriously get bottlenecked in a lot of areas during bank holidays and mail is often delayed.

Have you checked the tracking numbers on the Royal Mail site - sometimes they get delivered, but it doesn't update on eBay?
If they are still not showing as delivered, if they are parcel size, try another courier.

Thanks for your replies.....it seems to be all the signed and tracked with royal mail tracking that starts with numbers , before when we took all our orders to post office tracked and signed starting with a double letter and gb at the end no problem, i have been selling for 15 years and always send second class tracked and signed , on a bad year i would probably lose 1 in 50 orders this way but all my orders in two weeks that start with numbers as shown below

have checked on royal mail track and trace and it says
An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item

RM have been very slow since Easter. I guess there was a lot of staff taking leave, especially as the weather has been so good, then they were hit by the May Day bank holiday.
However, when I responded to one complaint and confirmed the delivery address, the buyer told me that she'd transposed the numbers on the postcode but, 'The parcels usually get delivered OK'.
How can anyone know that their postcode is wrong, but don't bother to correct it?
I just despair.
