What will happen to sellers/listings that do not comply with GPSR?

What exactly will happen? I know I have changed my postage to include NI/EU from places I do not sell to, but what actually is the punishment on eBay (or the real world) for failing to comply? If there is punitive measures put in place by eBay when would these take effect?

You will find that no "punishment" will ever fall on eBay - it is always shunted on to sellers, usually business sellers.

I'm aware that nothing will happen to eBay as eBay aren't selling to the EU/NI - only that individual sellers (mainly business sellers) will be responsible.

I should have asked, what actions/restrictions/punishment will eBay issue to sellers who aren't complying with GPSR laws and if there is such, when would these begin to occur?

I’ve got a buyer from NI who sneaked in on the 14th and bought an item. I’ve already cancelled one to NI.
checked four times to see I have switched NI off which is a pity as sold a fair bit to there

If you sell vintage or any second hand items (under 100 years old) simply put in the listing description that it 'would benefit from further restoration / reconditioning' then you will be covered. Second hand items that are for restoring (let's face it, most second hand items could do with a touch up!) and antiques that are over 100 years old are exempt. Loads of sellers on here don't even know how old the things they are selling on ebay. I doubt the EU bureaucrats would know either LOL
