What is it with this new thing on eBay where you go browsing , not particularly wanting to buy anything but just have a look and see what's on there. You come back to your phone and you have been bombarded with offers for every single item you have looked at. I had Thirty offers for things I just glanced at for a few seconds each. Maybe have a button you can press if you are interested in an item ,a " give me an offer " button. Or just let the potential buyer make an offer like we always have done. I getting sick of having to decline offers so I can clear my inbox.

It's not a new thing, they've been doing it aggressively for ages, around a year in my experience. Guess it depends on how consistently active you are.

In theory I don't mind these offers but what I do find annoying is that I can't just delete them when they appear on the apps, I actually have to decline them to make them go away.

As a seller I daily get prompted by eBay to send offers on items that buyers are interested in, but don't get any information on who they are and whether they are casual browsers or returning buyers. I usually send a 5% discount, but if I don't I get scolded by the system that I have "dismissed an opportunity". I feel sometimes like a performing dog...

It's possible if you looked at e.g. 30 items for the same seller, that they have offers automated to send shortly afterwards.
Even if they are sent manually daily by the seller, there's no obvious indication to that seller that a number of their offers are to the same person.
