Two items in same parcel INR case GSP

I sold two £300 items to the same international buyer at the same time and one was paid for through ebay GSP and one with an international address.

It made sense to send both items together rather than to pay for international shipping to send one individually on top of the GSP item.

The tracking showed that the GSP parcel was delivered at their end but the buyer claimed that no parcel was delivered for either item despite this.

The items were two £300 sealed vintage collectible card packs and buyers often open them and then open INR  cases  when they don't get a valuable card inside.

It made sense to send both items together internationally but stupidly I shouldn't have done this as I take it it means they will win the INR case for at least one of the items because I didn't send the second item seperately his and there is nothing I can do?

Ok, I don't quite understand..... were they both ebay sales?  if so, why was the other not sent GSP?

(The tracking proving delivery of the one sent GSP covers you for non-delivery of that, certainly.)

You won’t be covered for the none GSP order. The customer paid for two orders and that is how it should have been sent.

even if the customer had ordered both by GSP I’m fairly certain the orders get split to generate unique ids in the address so even two GSP Orders would need to go separately.

in this case, it’s a costly mistake I think.

You are correct, you shouldn't have sent them both in the same package if one wasn't going to be sent through GSP.

You will win an INR case for the one sent through GSP but you cannot prove that the other was included so you will lose the money and the item for the second one.

An expensive error.

What you could try, and I don't know if it will work, is find the tracking number for the GSP parcel and enter that in to BOTH cases that are open. 

Ebay may allow this and as it sees delivered, close both the cases.

As ALWAYS said here, NEVER EVER escalate the case yourself by clicking that button!

I'm pretty sure eBay only allows the same tracking number to be entered into two transactions if both items are being sent to the same address. Although both should end up with the same buyer, the two parcels will show different postcodes/destination addresses.
