On my business account I have set time away & to pause sales until 23.30hrs today 28th Nov. How come a sale has just been made? As it is I have now extended the time away until 23.30hrs Mon 1st Dec. Will ebay be accepting sales on my behalf over the weekend ???

When you schedule Time Away you are given a choice whether or not to accept sales whilst you are away. Sounds like you ticked the allow box.

You have 1 live listing and there is no shop on this account.

Last week I wanted to buy another something from one of my regular sellers but I knew she was on 'time away' from having ordered something earlier; a banner had shown at check-out and I made a note of the stated return date. I couldn't check any products in advance as her main index page had no listings at all (reinstated on her return). From idle curiosity I noticed that a Buy Again button was active against previous purchases from my My Ebay (I believe at Orders and/or Purchase History). You'd think it wouldn't take much programming code for that button to be greyed out during 'time away'. Because it looked active, I didn't dare click it and thus initiate a purchase as obviously I didn't want to cause a problem for my seller e.g. in case of target dates like EDDs.
So I wonder if the "Buy Again" button remains active and is a way for a buyer to place an order during a seller's 'time away'?

It's not a repeat buyer, they have purchased nothing before. I can only think that maybe they were watching the item, does it allow an item to be purchased from a seller on time away if it is being watched ???

Buyers can buy items if they are on their watched list regardless to Time Away. It’s always been possible.
