Hi
I have just sent an item by Special Delivery for which I purchased a label from eBay. When I handed it over at the post office, unfortunately the weight was over the 100g limited. The post office could not process my label, so I had to buy another at the increased prices because the item was just over the 100g limit. My original label was not scanned, so is it possible to reclaim the cost of the original label I purchased from eBay. If so, how do you do it? Thanks

Thank you so much for this information. It is good to get the information from someone who knows their way around eBay. Been on here for years and it still is a minefield to me! All the best.

Yes, if it wasn't scanned, not used, you can receive a refund for it. You may need to wait 24 hours for it to appear, to be able to void it for a refund.
Find your label with this link . https://www.ebay.co.uk/ship/
The refund will take between 5 - 21 days to process.

You can cancel the original label on Ebay i made a mistake and brought wrong weight for collection asked to cancel and then printed out the correct one. May take time for the credit to show when i buy on my Royal Mail account and cancel the refund comes through very quickly but haven't checked yet if my Ebay credit is showing. Look at your original purchase of the label and request cancel
