The whole thing is now one big confusing mess...how do you make something which was so simple so complicated?
I've now put all my sales (and purchases) on hold for 3 weeks just to see how this plays out.
By then we'll see how many sellers have had to wait the full 14 days to get "confirmation" that their item has been delivered & whether they've been paid OR whether they're having problems with payouts etc.

I stopped all of mine last night and like you, I'm going to watch and wait.
This has potential to go bad in alot of different ways.

Yep, delisted everything. Been selling for over 20 years on ebay - mostly RPG books - but that's me done. Doubt I'll come back unless ebay do a complete u-turn on this. Which I doubt.

I cancelled all my 59 listings on 03rd Feb 2025 and wish I had done so sooner !
I made 2 sales for almost £170 on another auction site early this morning and visited the Post Office today for the first time in 30 odd days of nothing selling on eBay no matter how hard I tried here...
I'm only running 7 listings on the new site (they was 9 altogether) as it is a pain to have to redo all my many listings again on the new site and they only allow upto 20 photos compared to eBay's 24... but what's the point of having 24 photos when no one is able to see my listings easily through all these muddy over populated eBay search results...
I may have only sold 2 items for a total of £167.59, but it's a positive result and I was able to get paid straight into my PayPal account INSTANTLY and then transfer the money over to my bank just like I always used do here on eBay some 4 years ago whenever I had sold something...
So thanks eBay for the push ! - I am now 100% better off somewhere where I'm now making quick money once again with no restrictions of slow payments and someone telling me what postage service I am allowed to use to deliver my sold items safely to my buyers and keep my money SAFE !

Sorry, my hands are tied behind my back on here - I've no liberty to say anything without offending eBay.

Sorry, Can't say anymore.

Yeah. Delisted all on Sunday night.
I’m not angry and I don’t think my ‘protest’ will be noticed - I simply don’t agree with the new terms and conditions coming in so I’ll not be using the platform when they start.

Ended mine last night.
Ebay are trying (through their greed) to make changes that give them 3 new income streams with no interest in the negative effect these will have on private sellers/buyers.

I think my listings will be gone by the 10th February, moved over a lot to another site and will slowly start deleting or ending them now. Sad days, but heck won't be dictated to and will research anything I find here as it will be for sale somewhere else as they can keep their buyers fees - if they introduce them, yes, no, maybe whatever . This time think they shot themselves in the foot.

Which site?

14 days to find fault with an item and to return for a full refund leaving the seller with postal/packaging losses. Is there any chance a buyer of apparrel might buy something for an 'event' then not like it afterwards. Seeing tracking didn't show as delivered so potentials claims to didn't receive it , or simply say not as described and return it. So in this event would the buyer also receive their 75p buyer protection fee payment back also ?
Just asking for a friend....

Removed all my items on the 3rd. Will not sell on ebay anymore

Nothing is changing, if a buyer wants to open a return they will, just because eBay is holding the money doesn't make this any more likely.
All buyers have the 30 eBay money back guarantee, nothing changes.
The same applies to a non delivery the buyer will always get a refund and the seller claims from the courier.
I am not quite sure where people are getting this blinkered view that more INR cases will be opened, the same applies, scanned on delivery, seller is protected, no scan, no protection then claim from the courier to be refunded.

So are you confirming the 75p will be refunded ?
