Well today is 'SD Day' supposedly, where Simple Delivery becomes the only postage option. However I still have over 200 listings up with the old postage option, none of which have been changed by ebay as far as I can see (still showing older Royal Mail prices etc.) I have no intention of using Simple Delivery as it stands, so what happens if an item sells? If I just posted at my own expense and was able to mark as Dispatched would I still get my funds in the usual (delayed) fashion, maybe without postage costs? I have no idea what is going on from here, and I wonder if ebay do either...

I am the same have just a few items left until they sell and they are still the old postage ,but it may be ebay will alter any new listings people put on from today .

Just did a trial listing and the link at the bottom has changed into "Switch to advanced options".
I clicked that and supposidly it changed into "custom" option ??

Custom postage is showing still but it might be too early in the morning ? Not sure , but because it has to be available for the exceptions given maybe it will just stay on
i did notice though that for Royal Mail they have made 0-2 kg parcel the same price plus it’s been reduced to
£3.44
before today when listing with SD it was 3.74 for 0-1kg and 4.27 for 1-2 kg

It's as clear as mud. As mentioned, the RM Simple Delivery for 2kg has dropped to £3.44 vs £2.94 Standard. Yet if you exclude Evri in your Postage Settings, the price points offered are £3.44 or Express £4.25. So a Buyer unknowingly would pay an extra 81p unnecessarily for Express and likely end up with the same carrier all along.

I would expect the changes to happen during the day. I doubt the changes will hit everyone together, they will ripple through.
(I don't know how much the timing is based on the fact that USA is still asleep. Does Ebay UK run on computers in the States? The techies pressing the go button may not be at work yet.)
