'Simple' Shipping debacle and it hasn't even started yet...

Sales have been almost non-existent recently so I went into my listings to do a little 'Sell Similar' and what an eye-opener THAT was!  All my Free P&P Listings were showing as follows:

All my listings were initially listed by me as Free P&P with mail via Royal Mail only.  Is it any wonder my items weren't selling. Words fail me. eBay couldn't run a party* in a brewery.

*Wouldn't want to upset the eBay censors now would I.

Yes, I think the problems have only just begun, as more & more people begin to notice that their postage settings have defaulted to Simple Delivery.

At the moment, it is still possible to switch back to Custom postage, but who knows how long those settings will stay in place, either for new, or existing listings?

It is all incredibly confusing & frustrating.

That is just the standard front page for a similar listing, Mine shows the same  all listings still actually free post, 1 sold this morning !!! yes no joke and was all ok.. It is after the 15th that the fun will probably begin..

I would imagine lots of sellers won't be up to speed about mandatory Simple Delivery, especially those that let their items auto-relist. There would not necessarily be any need to check all your listing/postage details etc, unless you happen to want to alter a price, or something.   

It will only be when an item sells, that they will discover a postage label has been automatically generated. That will be a nice surprise...
