Hi all,
I've noticed recently that the option to change a tracking number for items I've sold has disappeared. After a couple of chats with ebay, I understand the option to change a tracking number for an item sold through SD has permanently been removed. This means that once I create a label (which I have to) through SD the buyer gets a tracking number and dispatch email. However, as SD miscalculates delivery charges (i.e. £6.65 to send 3 x light switches second class) I often have to buy buy own cheaper postage, change the tracking number so the buyer knows what's going on, and claim a refund for the SD postage. This means the buyer is receiving conflicting tracking/delivery information. Also, if I can't change the tracking number I can't prove it has been delivered, therefore I fall short of the SD refund criteria. I feel like I've been stiffed. Anybody and thoughts or insights please? Chatting with ebay agents just goes round in ever decreasing circles.
Thanks in advance.
