Simple Delivery STILL forcing itself on EXEMPT LETTERS & OUTSIZE parcels

Many many complaints about this since before 17 July 2025. on 18 July 2025 ebay admitted it was "a known problem". Still no proper fix as ebay refuse to acknowledge the problem is their fault. CS offer "work-around" fix of changing the value of the item for outsize but it does not work. CS offer the "work-around" for letters is to hand relist each item ebay has interfered editing all  the sections as you go. But you can NOT edit PACKAGE SIZE as ebay removed letter & outsize from the options. THIS is where the fault lies. Only when the flexible PACKAGE SIZE section is reinstated will it be possible to CORRECTLY list or relist items that ebay claim are exempt from Simple Delivery. Ebay also insists a letter is a parcel and even when you cvhoose to add a custom postage still up pops the Royal Mail option for a PARCEL ! So add the correct letter postage, remove the parcel option (sometimes the "change" option works),  re-add the free shipping that you had originally offered......................sigh 😞 NB you used to be able to BULK relist items in the exact format you has originally used. Easy-peasy, took a minute or two to relist 100 or 200 items UNCHANGED. The "work-around" takes about 5 minutes per single item. So is ebay doing the forced change deliberately? Or failing to fix a fault deliberately? Or has been hacked? Surely there are hundreds of fabulous IT wizards who could fix it in a jiffy if asked to REPLACE THE FLEXIBLE PACKAGE SIZE OPTION to include LETTER & OUTSIZE parcels.

Use my workaround, I don't know if it will work after tomorrows changes though. Have to wait and see.

For exempt small items , though the smallest shown size is large letter up to 1kg , the postage options that come up when custom is clicked, are 1st/2nd class letter and LL

The large parcel size comes up in some categories eg fishing rod or golf club, but not in others  eg flipping sofas 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

your tiny fabric  bags could be listed under clothing womens accessories wallets and purses (instead of bags) as SD doesn’t apply in that category at all
