We started selling as a business approx 2 months ago and have been reasonably sucessful - wondering wether its worth thinking about subscribing to a shop front - is it worth the money? It would be the basic shop but have read the blurb from ebay - reduced fees, free listings etc - but no mention of numbers so cant work out if its for us. Any input would be welcome - Thanks

It will be worth it if you are planning to at least double your amount of listings. You will need at least 90 listings ( and can go up to 250 + 100 auctions) for a basic shop to be viable compared to what you are paying for pay as you sell. You will also get a shop front.
If you go for a shop, try to use as many listings as you each month, taking in to account any rolling over which will come out of your monthly total.

i already had a shop as a private seller and upraded to a business , i think it would have been a better option to work as a private seller , even if you would get a shop upgrade you would have been better off . but since you are already on as a business it would benefit if you plan to have more than like 400 items
