No Returns

I like to browse second hand high end clothing and I’m seeing a lot more sellers emphasising ‘NO RETURNS’ in their descriptions and even worse, two today stating ‘if any doubts do not buy as its Non Refundable’, one of which was a tired looking garment priced at £600.

I wish eBay could do something about sellers misleading buyers like this. Atm I’m dealing with a seller who has replied to a ‘not as described’ return request (in messages as I think they won’t have a button to refuse it) with ‘sorry, no returns’.

I know how to follow procedure, many don’t. Its no wonder eBay’s reputation for bad sellers is growing and leading to things like the bpf.

No Returns

Private sellers may select 'No returns' and state this in their listing description, they are not obliged to accept change of mind returns but obviously eBay's buyer protection/Money Back Guarantee will kick in if the item isn't as described.

Any seller refusing a not as described return will soon find out what the consequence is.
