Selling for free.

I have got to ask, what is the catch here. Surely it can’t be 100% free to sell on eBay.

No catch, 100% free. Ebay make money if you promote or use any listing upgrades or if the buyer is abroad.

For private non-business sellers, yes, but in January BUYERS are expected to pay fees. So it remains to be seen how that goes down.

I don't think that has been confirmed yet. As I understand it, there will be some sort of buyer-related fees being announced SOMETIME IN Q1.

Buyers to pay fees! Are you sure about that. Say I buy an item, pay the seller as usual, what then, do I get a separate bill from eBay.
