Seller needs to pay postage

I have a customer who has lied told them I never sold them what was described now I have to give a refund I’m ok with that but then I have to pay postage both ways so I loose money are they having a laugh this has happened a few time now

Yeh this sucks and tbh puts me off auctions as its always the cheapskates who pay 50% under the value who end up returning stuff with this option

If this was not the case, what would stop sellers from sending out rubbish whenever they felt like it? Returns like this are a pain, but probably 80% of them are genuine.
