You can search these boards for ways to opt out. They seem to boil down to four:
- Starting the listing as £20 or under 'large letter'.
- Starting the listing as oversized.
- Starting the listing as overpriced above £800.
- Switching to a Business Account.

A majority of Sellers didn't want to try Simple Delivery, myself included, but it really is better for most things! So I want to encourage you to use it a few times. Then you can make an informed decision. With SD your Buyer pays less for a book's postage. It goes Tracked 48 so they receive their item faster. Plus eBay protects you from delivery related Negative/Neutral feedback.
