Payment on hold

This is a bit of a wierd one. Not sure if anyone has had this issue. Sold an item on the 19th to a buyer on Ebay , item was sold and it has been delivered twice the person which hasn't answered.  You Can't contact the person because no reply to anything even phonecalls. Not sure what else to do as I sent this through Tracked royal mail and there isn't any return on it . The seller payed for the item and the money is on hold. Thanks to anyone who can help .

Do you mean that attempted delivery has been made twice?

Is that what the current tracking status is showing?

You must always add a return address to any package you send out.

Hi , Never had any issues , never have ever put return address on any item sold on Ebay it's always been received by the buyer this is the first time the buyer is being wierd and not replying or messaging or answering calls . I know it's probably my fault for not putting a return but never had issue like this. Thanks for messaging and helping .

 if the item shows the royal mail tried to deliver the item and there was no answer ,ebay will count this attempted delivery as delivered . I think royal mail will try and deliver 3 times then they will take it back to delivery  office for person to collect . Always put a return address on all your packages so the royal mail can return the item to the sender after so many days of no pick up .

Hi , Thanks for messaging.  I've never put a return and sold over 200 items this is the first time I suppose it was my fault . Just hard to understand that someone would pay for something which is on hold but hasn't attempted to get the item. Thanks suppose it was my fault just wanted answers as it is very confusing.

 I wonder if they have moved and forgot to change their address on ebay ,which is their fault and ebay will still find in your favour as you posted to address that was on their  account .

Possibly, don't know thats a good question I'm,not sure about that but you have been alot more help than ebay have tried talking to them but they said they can't do alot.  The person left his phone number which he isn't answering messages or calls and isn't answering messages on ebay . But that is a good question.  Thank you

 I am  not sure if ebay will make you wait 14 days for fund release ,they shouldn't because attempted delivery is really classed as delivery ,if you can contact ebay and they will advise you

 This is what ebay say in one of their statements ,In cases where there is an attempted delivery, we consider this "delivered"
