Parcel now packed heavier and larger than paid for by buyer

Advice please. I’ve sold an item (glazed picture ) and I didn’t check the estimated weight etc  quoted by simple delivery (as I usually do) when listing. I just assumed looking at the item that SD was about right. Now I’ve packed the item it is almost 2kg instead of the 1kg parcel quoted and larger than the  measurements for a “small parcel”. It’s a breakable item so don’t want to reduce packaging and risk breakage but I also don’t want my buyer to be subjected to an overcharge. What do I do? Thanks in advance and apologies if this type of question has already been asked on the boards.

e-Bay will honour the Recommended price even though it's too low.  Just use the label provided and all will be well.
