Hello all.
I had promoted all my inventory for about 3 weeks with an 2% margin on all listings and haven't get any magic results 🙂 ,maximum 2 sales /day on 1k listings.
I had decided to increase to an 5 % percents margin ,all my inventory and I can see that all the impressions promoted almost doubled.
What margins are you guys using currently and on what margins did u had the best results in terms of sales?
Happy to get any recommandation 🙂 Thanks

You may find promoting everything on the same percentage across the board does not work as the categories will have different suggested rates.
I've searched a few of your items for sale and sponsored does come up with you as the top result, but I also noticed something you may want to look at:
Lots of your listings are missing important info in the title. E.g. you are selling Johnsons Baby Oil but your title just says "Oil" with no brand name, so if you search for johnsons baby oil your item does not even show up in the search results anywhere.
Same with Kalms Day tablets - your title starts with Day, Colgate Plax, your title starts with plax and omits the Colgate so your items may not be findable by buyers. Something has caused the first word to be omited from your titles, if you look at this it may sort out the sales issue and you may not need to promote.

I've always (at tleast for the past time) been using the minimum of 2%. No idea how this has affected performance, or whether the new zero fees for privates will just get people to increase their promotions for better visibility (thereby dropping people below the suggested figure with less visibility).
I flat out refuse to put ridiculously high percentages on items, not worth it as you lose so much.

Will see how it works , on 2% is like I am in the same boat with everyone ,literally not getting sales ,no impressions, everything looks dead. Will try to see how it works with 5 %.
Thanks for the reply @dougbat20 🙂
