Ive sold an item recently and after 21 years on eBay Ive had to verify my bank account.
Followed all the steps and micro debit didnt take place. Contacted customer service numerous times and twice spoken to accounts department, re-entering my details as they requested.
My bank still has not been verified twenty days later, I have £850 sat in my ebay balance that I can't withdraw and again Im being told by accounts and customer I need to re-enter my bank details foe the third time and wait another 6-8 days for verification to take place.
Ebay customer service and accounts do nothing to help but follow the same script and Im now considering taking legal action to get my funds.
Ebay - your customer service is nothing short of a ridiculous disgrace
